The Noose Tightens on Trump? That is the question. According to NBC News, Donald Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen met with NYC prosecutors yesterday for the seventh time. NBC says the Zoom meeting lasted two and a half hours. Mark Pomerantz, who took down New York City Mafia Capo, John Gotti, Junior, reportedly joined the call.
Donnie Dangerous & Al “Scarface” Capone
Was Trump’s recent quick visit to NYC to put pressure on his accountant Allen Weisselberg? After all, it was his bookkeeper that did in Al “Scarface” Capone. Do you recall how Jim Malone (Sean Connery) made the bookkeeper sing? If you know, you know, if you don’t you could look it up; fair warning it is graphic!
Trouble for Trump’s Other Lawyer
While one former personal lawyer is coming for Trump, another has his own issues. Reports of federal criminal inquiries into Rudy Giuliani continue to swirl. In addition, Rudy faces election fraud lawsuits claiming billions in damages. On top of this, an “$8 billion” lawsuit names Giuliani, Trump, Trump Organization and Deutsche as defendants. The pro se Brooklyn-based plaintiff claims are related to the elections and January 6th Capitol attack.
Tick Tock Tick Tock
It appears the proverbial noose is tightening for Donnie Dangerous. Giuliani may have some issues as well. The plot thickens, the suspense builds; and, it bears noting, Merrick Garland has been confirmed as the United State Attorney General.
